Plug-in USB power, not battery. The fountain runs from the included USB cable plugged into a standard USB wall adapter (a phone charger plug works). A wall plug isn’t included. There’s no battery, so it needs to stay plugged in to keep the water flowing.
Change the filter every 2–4 weeks, or more often in summer and in multi-pet homes. Pick up the 8-pack of replacement filters so you never run out.
